Surviving Quarantine 2020 – Part 2

Did you know there are many herbs, fruits & vegetables that contain anti-viral properties? You can boost your immune system simply by consuming a variety of the foods and/or herbs listed below on a daily basis.

After I began eating “clean” about 5 years ago, I can in all honesty say I haven’t been sick since. My entire office will come down with whatever random “bug” or virus is making it’s rounds and I’m unaffected.

Please note, for best results you’ll need to consume fresh fruits & veggies – not the canned or packaged versions. When using supplements, be sure you are getting the purest form available. Check with your local health food store or integrative medicine provider for recommendations.

Here’s a list of various foods and supplements to incorporate into your diet:

Tomatoes, Broccoli, Spinach, Oranges, Blueberries, Apples and Salmon.

Use Honey as a sugar substitute to sweeten foods and Apple Cider Vinegar (can also be used for cleaning and disinfecting), Ginger, Garlic, Oregano, Cinnamon, or Turmeric (also great as a supplement) to add flavor.

Green Tea is great to have on hand, as is Elderberry Syrup, which can be taken as a supplement (one teaspoon per day) or used to make tea. You can find lots of great elderberry tea recipes online.
